Mac’Ants Group sub contract operation MSE was originally created to cater to meet customers’ short term capacity needs, today offers an experienced sub contract  surface engineering capability which has become a key element in the company’s overall service to the market.

We offer a broad array of surface engineering solutions from traditional Grit Blasting applications using Alumina, Iron or Steel based media to Steel/Stainless Steel Shot and Glass Beads Blasting.

At the upper end of the controlled blasting processes are the shot and bead peening sub contract applications, where controlled and precision measurement of the imparted energy to the components are controlled. Thus this provides the client with the ability to correlate imparted energy to stress and fatigue relief / reduction.

Plastic Media Stripping is a particular specialisation of the group, from complete aircraft depaints to graffiti removal, we’ve had experience of a great number. With the new Auriga System now on hand we can also offer sub contract stripping of larger structures where contaminated materials are a concern, for instance Bridges and Ships.

Having the ability to depaint, or prepare substrates to a given profile, naturally lead on to re coating and painting. We are able to wet paint in single and multi pack systems as well as powder coat. Additionally we are ZINGA, zinc rich coating contractors and appointed Henkel Loctite application partners.
