Secondary Aluminas

These are lower specification alumina based products that are usually made as a by product of Alumina processing / aluminium oxide. The alumina products are back blended with fillers and extenders to enhance their performance while maintaining economic values.

Available in a full range of blended grit sizes, materials can be used for lower specification surface finishing applications, slip resistant flooring and vibratory mass finishing products.

Due to the nature of the products, the materials can include recycled materials, such as grinding wheels, recycled blast media or bonding materials. In this instance their use can increase the green credentials of a product while still offering adequate performance characteristics.
