REACH Regulations...registration, evaluation, authorisation and restriction of chemicals.

Reach Regulations came into force in 1st June 2007 and require importers of chemicals in to the European Union to register these products in order to maintain an current and accurate database on the security and safety of all chemicals used in industry and the economy in general.

We at Mac'Ants are wholeheartedly committed to ensuring compliance to the regulation and in so doing will be ensuring the products that fall within the requirements of the regulation and pre registered according to the legislations specified deadlines.

Current deadlines are: Pre registration commencing  June 2008 and closing November 2008.

Thereafter industry specific committees / fora will be formed to arrange consolidation of the specific chemical imports / manufacture and use.
