Grit, Shot and Bead Blasting

We conduct a vast array of sub contract services for customers near and far. These range from Alumina de shelling of castings, alumina final preparation of medical components, through to chilled iron grit blasting in our blast rooms of components prior to powder coating as well as bead blasting of electrical components or architectural components like the bracing bars out side Terminal 5 Heathrow. Other applications can include:

• Blasting prior to rubber to metal bonding.
• Substrate preparation before painting / powder coating, can include cars and vans.
• Cleaning of fabrications, removal of rust, manufacturing / machining marks.
• Polish blast with beads on any metal substrate.

The images below demonstrate the finishes achievable with Alumina and Glass Bead blasting. Here the left image is the post heat treated form (not blasted), then the middle image is the alumina finish and the right hand image is a glass bead blasted finish.
