Avialite Hybrids

Mac'Ants Group manufacture a diverse range of medias for specialist applications, these include the following;

• Avialite Oxide - a hybrid formulation of thermoset media and alpha alumina. The static charge in the media ensures an even distribution of the alpha alumina within the working mix. Used extensively in the rail repair sector for NDT preparation on rolling stock wheels and brake assemblies

• Avialite Turbocast - a unique formulation of multiple thermoset polymers and extruded materials to offer a unique ability to de 'bubble' automotive and industrial turbo charger castings, caused by satellite bubble moudling of the component. This product permits the rapid  removal of the bubbles with no damage to the main component and ensures a clean surface for efficient dye penetrant testing downstream.

• Avialite Metal - a blended formulation to facilitate the rapid removal of powder coating from component
