Glass Fibre Restoration, Disposal and Recycling

GRP restoration can include de-painting – as illustrated in this image showing the stripping of a classic Lotus Elan.  This process was the only way, other than manually sanding or abrading the paint, which could reveal the state of the base GRP.  A total of 16 layers of paint and filler were selectively and controllably removed using a plastic media stripping process in one of our blast facilities.

Additionally, for removal of stains and deposits on GRP gel coat, we offer our range of Eezykleen gel coat cleaning compounds, which delicately remove staining on glass fibre without damage the gel coat itself.
