Composites, Carbon and Fibre Glass
Cleaning and de-painting of these types of materials can be very difficult. With the advent of plastic media, this process has become significantly more realistic – avoiding the need for manual abrading or sanding. Additionally, the manufacture of components using these materials often leaves resin binder adhered to mould tools and equipment and, again, this can easily be removed, without damaging the tools, by using plastic stripping technology. The method is aggressive enough to remove resin, but with control to p
revent damage to mould tools and substrates.
Similarly cleaning anti-foul and coatings from marine GRP and fibreglass can be achieved using polymer media or, where the cleaning of gel coat is required, our polymer cleaning compounds can be used, offering the ability to clean otherwise non-removable stains. We think it’s simply miraculous!
